Recently all of Kaplan Business School policies were reviewed by the Academic Board and as a result some policies have been changed. All students should familiarise themselves with the new policies available on the Kaplan Business School website: http://www.kbs.edu.au/about-us/policies/ I would like to draw your attention to the changes in the Assessment Policy. These changes have been summarised below for your convenience:
- From Trimester 1 2014, Academic Supplementary exams will no longer be held. All final examination papers are moderated, and all failed papers will be reviewed accordingly by the Academic Head.
- From Trimester 1, 2014 it has been decided due to the amount of time and administrative work required that a $250 re-mark fee will be introduced. Where a student believes their assessment item has been marked incorrectly, they may apply to have that assessment item re-marked once only. If the assessment mark goes up as a result of the re-mark the student will be eligible for a refund of the $250 fee. If the assessment mark remains the same or goes down the student will not be eligible for a refund. The re-mark fee does not apply to situations where marks have been tabulated incorrectly, or where sections of a paper have been left unmarked.
Please refer to the relevant policy for further information.
